I am an Assistant Professor and a Greenwall Faculty Scholar in the Institute for Philosophy and Public Policy at George Mason University, and a Guest Researcher in the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. Previously, I was a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar in the Rotman Institute of Philosophy and The Brain and Mind Institute at the University of Western Ontario.

My research centers on bioethics and the philosophy of neuroscience. I specialize in ethical and epistemological issues related to the scientific study of consciousness.
